WebComms4U Ltd located between Bath and Bristol is a dual-function small business providing a quality, value-for-money website design and maintenance service for small businesses and start-ups covering Bath, Bristol and the surrounding counties. The company also promotes environmental awareness through the hire locally, and at greater distances, of novel and exciting interactive environmental awareness exhibits.

Director of WebComms4U Ltd. A professional technologist with over 37 years experience within the Ministry of Defence covering a wide range of electronics/electrical engineering disciplines. Over the past 7 years Trevor has moved away from the engineering area and focused on environmental protection policy and legislation with particular emphasis on energy efficiency (including renewable energy), waste minimisation and environmental management systems.

Trevor has practical experience of website design and maintenance. He was Web Master for two Ministry Intranet websites – one scientific and one environmental. Having taken up the offer of early retirement in March 2006, Trevor in conjunction with Shirley Wong formed up the small business venture WebComms4U Ltd.

Shirley Wong: Consultant, experienced in designing website pages and content structuring to meet company website standards

Part-time Consultant to WebComms4U Ltd. Graduated in 1998 with a BSc in Business Information Technology and in 2003 achieved an MSc in Multimedia Information Systems.

Shirley’s area of expertise is designing website pages and content structuring to meet company website standards. She has worked on a number of projects for well-known organisations including The Home Office, Virgin Mobile, Oxfordshire County Council and the Borough of Poole Council. She worked for the Planning Portal, a government department based in Bristol for 3 years and has recently moved on to work for Capita in Reading as a Web Editor.
